Independent Cyber Intelligence for a Privacy-Conscious World

TorNews is an independent news organization and research center, and has made it its mission to uncover the truths about all aspects of hardcore cybersecurity, the deep web, the dark web, and global cyber threats. Our goal is to provide transparent, factual, and security-related journalism that enables our readers to safely navigate their digital lives, from simple privacy tools to the deepest hidden corners of the World Wide Web.

We believe that knowledge represents the most formidable barrier and firewall against digital manipulation, surveillance, and crime. This explains why we actively put together investigative journalism, technical assessments, and hands-on education so that our readers can make informed decisions as they explore the ever-more complex digital situations.

Our Mission

At TorNews, we stand for transparency in the digital space, accuracy in our stories, and users’ ability to make their own choices.

Our purpose is to be a conduit for individuals working in the cybersecurity realm, data advocates, and the average user hoping to find meaningful information about a specific operation and behavior in the environment of the Internet.

We will not sensationalize the dark web – we will analyze it.

We will not advocate illegal activity – we will document and reveal it.

Our reporting aims to understand the ecosystems that outline digital anonymity, and bring to light the threats and technologies fueling the underground of the modern internet.

Our Editorial Standards

  1. Accuracy First: Every report is fact-checked against verifiable intelligence, security research, or personal observation.
  2. Privacy by Design: Anonymity of sources, contributors, and readers engaging with our platform will be protected.
  3. No Sponsored Bias: TorNews works independently, and our reviews and recommendations are based on merit and user trust, never influenced by payment.
  4. Education Instead of Fear: We contextualize and investigate to inform, instead of alarm. Education is our goal, not intimidation.

Who We Are

TorNews was assembled by a worldwide group of researchers, security analysts, and journalists, all with the same objective — making knowledge about digital privacy and security accessible to everyone!

With a website focused on anonymity and privacy, we are never going to give our full names to reveal identities (hope you can understand). But, importantly for our readers, we bring expertise from within the areas of ethical hacking, OSINT research, cyber threat intelligence, and digital forensics.

No matter what your level of privacy experience is – cybersecurity expert, or dark web researcher – our coverage is created to inform, direct, and protect.

Why TorNews Matters

In a world in which data is the currency and privacy is under constant attack, independent cybersecurity journalism is an essential, not a luxury.

TorNews was created to shed light on the truth of the dark web, to show how digital threats cross borders, and to create more help for all online users to reclaim their privacy.

We do not just report on the dark web; we give understanding to it.
