Your browser may have a unique fingerprint, which means you could be tracked across websites without techniques such as tracking cookies. If this is the case, services such as Tor or VPNs could be negated if websites cannot hide your identity. A service called Browserprint has been developed to test how unique your web browser’s fingerprint is and how identifiable your browser is.

The site, created by the University of Adelaide and ACEMS, includes various tests – like detecting software such as Privacy Badger and CSS only (no JavaScript or Flash) tests to get screen size and installed fonts.
