A little-known (outside of government circles) cybersecurity firm called Exodus Intel sold or leaked a critical zero-day Firefox exploit to the FBI which enabled it to unmask TOR users and arrest visitors to a child pornography site known as Giftbox. According to Exodus president Logan Brown, the company develops and sells software vulnerabilities for up to $1 million per exploit. Obviously, the major buyers of such exploits are the FBI, CIA and NSA.
Now we know the company behind the recent firefox zero-day exploit – Exodus Intel and its President, Logan Brown.
